Chickpeas
1 sachet
mild sambal seasoning
olive oil
• Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. • Drain and rinse chickpeas. • Pat chickpeas dry with paper towel.
TIP: Patting the chickpeas dry helps them crisp up in the oven!
• In a medium bowl, combine chickpeas, mild Sambal seasoning and a drizzle of olive oil. Toss to coat.
• Divide chickpeas between two lined oven trays, arranging in a single layer. • Roast until crisp and slightly brown around the edges, tossing halfway through, 25-30 minutes. • Remove from oven and set aside to cool. Season to taste.
• Transfer spiced roasted chickpeas to a serving bowl. Enjoy!
TIP: Chickpeas are best served immediately.
